About the Project
Rising seventy stories and 861 feet above Brickell Avenue, The Residences at 1428 Brickell is one of the most architecturally ambitious residential towers ever conceived in the Americas. Designed by Milan-based ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel with Arquitectonica, the building presents a sculptural curvilinear silhouette unlike anything else on the Miami skyline. With just 189 limited-edition residences across seventy floors, it is a deliberate exercise in restraint — a tower conceived to maximize the quality of life of each owner rather than total unit count. The address at 1428 Brickell Avenue places residents at the heart of Miami's financial district, steps from Brickell City Centre and directly fronting Biscayne Bay.
The defining innovation is its Solar Backbone: over 500 photovoltaic-integrated glass panels spanning the full height of the west facade, encompassing nearly 20,000 square feet of energy-producing glass. Thin-film solar cells are laminated within layers of architectural glazing, invisible to the eye, generating up to 170,000 kilowatts of clean energy annually — enough to offset the electricity use of roughly 915 homes per year — while reducing the building's carbon output by an estimated 4,700 tons of CO2 annually. Because the cells are bonded into the glass substrate, their lifespan matches the window itself, eliminating the replacement cycles of conventional panels. 1428 Brickell is the world's first high-rise residential tower partially powered by the sun.
The 189 residences range from 1,800 to 4,000 interior square feet in two-to-four bedroom plus den configurations, with a Penthouse Collection from 4,000 to 10,000 square feet and a crown duplex penthouse exceeding 12,000 square feet. Every home faces Biscayne Bay through floor-to-ceiling glass. Interiors were conceived by the same ACPV team, ensuring seamless continuity between architecture and living space. Kitchens feature bespoke Arclinea and Vaselli cabinetry handcrafted in Italy with a fully integrated Gaggenau appliance suite; bathrooms are appointed with travertine showers and sculptural free-standing bathtubs from Rapolano. Every unit is delivered fully finished — flooring, closets, lighting, and window treatments included.
The amenity program spans over 80,000 square feet conceived exclusively for 189 households. Level 70 holds a rooftop observatory with an infinity pool and lounge bar suspended nearly 900 feet above Brickell. The 67th floor Owners Club is a double-height wine and spirits lounge with glass-front private wine cellars, a full bar, private dining room, and office suites. Level 66 is a 10,000-square-foot wellness floor — Technogym fitness center, infrared saunas, plunge pools, yoga studio, golf simulator, and private spa suites with sauna, steam shower, and whirlpool. The 7th-floor Resort Deck adds a second pool, cabanas, jacuzzi, a children's splash pad, cinema room, and garden terraces, backed by full concierge services.
Ytech is a Miami luxury development firm founded and solely owned by Yamal Yidios, with a pipeline exceeding three billion dollars in Brickell projects. Yidios acquired this site in 2017 and spent the following years visiting 250 projects and 37 architecture firms worldwide before selecting ACPV and Arquitectonica — a process that reflects his central conviction: not the tallest or most expensive tower in Miami, but the most thoughtfully conceived. The Solar Backbone, the Italian artisan sourcing, and the 189-unit limit across 70 floors are all expressions of that philosophy.
Construction broke ground in November 2024. By September 2025, the team completed the largest mat foundation pour in Brickell history — 13,000 cubic yards of concrete over 33 uninterrupted hours. In November 2025, Ytech closed a $565 million construction loan from J.P. Morgan and Sculptor Real Estate, with the building already approximately 57 percent presold. Residences start at $2.9 million for two bedrooms, $4.6 million for three bedrooms, $6.4 million for four bedrooms, and $14.4 million for penthouses, with the crown penthouse at $60 million. Delivery is targeted for Q4 2028.
