About the Project
Rising ninety stories and 1,049 feet above Brickell Avenue, 888 Brickell by Dolce&Gabbana is set to become the tallest skyscraper in Miami and one of the most architecturally ambitious residential projects in the Americas. Conceived by JDS Development Group in partnership with GV Development Group, the supertall tower will offer 259 fully furnished, turnkey residences across its upper floors, with the building operating simultaneously as a luxury condo-hotel — a model that delivers both an extraordinary private home and an income-generating asset. Designed by Studio Sofield with O'Donnell Dannwolf & Partners serving as architect of record, and with landscaping by Terrain, the tower's exterior is clad in ivory travertine and articulated by matte black steel beams that impose a dramatically vertical silhouette against Miami's skyline. At street level, a gold-beaded architectural necklace wraps the podium in warm metallic luminescence — an unmistakable signal of the sensibility within. Demolition of the existing structures on site commenced in July 2025, with vertical construction and project delivery targeted for 2029.
The involvement of Dolce&Gabbana in a residential tower is without precedent in the fashion house's history, and their creative imprint on 888 Brickell is total rather than cosmetic. Founded in 1985 in Milan by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the brand was built on a foundation of Sicilian heritage, baroque excess, and an uncompromising celebration of Italian craft. Over four decades it grew into one of fashion's defining empires — known globally for its operatic runway presentations, its embrace of leopard print, black lace, and gold ornamentation, and its insistence that beauty must be felt as much as seen. At 888 Brickell, Dolce and Gabbana themselves curated every interior environment — not through a licensing arrangement, but through direct creative authorship. The result is a building in which the fashion house's entire visual vocabulary, from the drama of Venetian Murano glass to the warmth of Sicilian citrus motifs, is translated into permanent architecture. This is the first real estate project the brand has undertaken in the United States, and it has been treated with the full weight of that distinction.
The 259 residences at 888 Brickell span configurations from two to four bedrooms and range in size from 2,173 to 9,780 square feet, with a curated collection of penthouses commanding the tower's uppermost floors. Every residence is delivered fully furnished and move-in ready, with interiors conceived by Dolce&Gabbana across three distinct marble palettes: Bianco Striata for a luminous white scheme, Nero Marquina for a dramatic black expression, and Giallo Imperiale for a sun-drenched gold treatment. Each palette informs everything from kitchen cabinetry to bathroom wall cladding, with additional stones including Camelia Green Marble, Nero Saint Laurent, and Travertino Giallo appearing throughout individual rooms. Kitchens are custom-designed around the Italian philosophy of the cucina as the heart of the home — generous, functional, and crafted for serious use. Bathrooms are conceived as grand private retreats, with freestanding sculptural tubs positioned to face sweeping views of Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic. Venetian hand-blown chandeliers anchor principal living spaces, while bespoke joinery, hand-laid mosaics, and custom hardware carry the artisanal language of Italian luxury into every detail. Pricing begins at approximately $3.5 million and ascends to $35 million for the most expansive penthouse residences.
Spread across eight floors and totalling more than 115,000 square feet, the amenity program at 888 Brickell is conceived as a complete lifestyle ecosystem rather than a conventional residential offering. The building's food and beverage program alone encompasses six distinct outlets: a signature ground-floor restaurant anchoring the Brickell Avenue arrival experience; two bars within the soaring Grand Lobby, which is distinguished by black marble, a dramatic book-matched burgundy marble feature wall, and three custom-commissioned Venetian hand-made chandeliers; the 888 Pool Club restaurant and bar, designed for all-day alfresco dining beside a 3,800-square-foot pool fringed by private cabanas and green-and-white striped lounge chairs; a Gelateria Italiana serving artisan gelato at the pool level; a demonstration kitchen for culinary programming; and a private dining room available for exclusive resident use. The wellness offering is anchored by a 44-foot lap pool reserved exclusively for residents, alongside a full recovery spa offering massage, facial treatments, IV therapy, a thermal circuit, and a juice bar. Sport is addressed through a double-height indoor padel court, a golf simulator, a fully equipped fitness center, and dedicated yoga and pilates studios. Evening entertainment is served by a private cinema, a billiards room, and a wine cellar, while families and remote workers are accommodated through a children's playroom, creative workspaces, and a suite of meeting rooms. A barber shop and tailor service complete the on-site offering.
888 Brickell occupies one of Miami's most strategically positioned addresses, fronting Brickell Avenue at the convergence of the city's financial core and its bay-facing residential spine. Brickell has undergone a profound transformation over the past decade — evolving from a single-purpose banking corridor into a walkable, cosmopolitan urban district anchored by the Brickell City Centre retail and dining complex, Mary Brickell Village, and a rapidly expanding collection of restaurants, galleries, and cultural venues. The tower sits within walking distance of the waterfront promenade along Biscayne Bay, with direct bay and ocean views available from its upper floors. Brickell's Metromover and Metrorail connections place Miami Beach, Wynwood, the Design District, and Miami International Airport within easy reach, making the address as practical as it is prestigious. The neighbourhood's consolidation as Miami's premier business address — home to the regional headquarters of major financial institutions, international law firms, and technology companies — has driven sustained residential demand and underpinned consistent appreciation across the luxury segment.
With demolition completed and vertical construction approaching, 888 Brickell by Dolce&Gabbana represents one of the most compelling entry points in Miami's ultra-luxury preconstruction market. The combination of a globally recognised fashion brand, a supertall tower designed to the absolute limit of Miami's FAA-mandated height envelope of 1,049 feet, and a condo-hotel structure enabling rental income through professional hotel management creates a value proposition with few parallels in the current development pipeline. Residences are priced from $3.5 million, with the upper penthouses reaching $35 million, positioning the tower firmly within the tier of assets that compete internationally with comparable branded residences in New York, London, and Dubai rather than simply within the Miami market. Completion and delivery of keys is anticipated for 2029, offering buyers a meaningful runway for appreciation through what is widely expected to be a continued period of institutional and international capital inflow into South Florida real estate.
