About the Project

Rising 57 stories above Biscayne Bay, Missoni Baia stands as one of Miami's most architecturally distinctive residential towers and a landmark for Edgewater's waterfront. Designed by Hani Rashid of Asymptote Architecture alongside Miami's Revuelta Architecture International, the building's sinuous curved facade evokes the flow of water, its undulating silhouette shifting with the light across the bay. Positioned at 700 NE 26th Terrace with 200 linear feet of bayfront exposure, the tower commands unobstructed views toward Miami Beach and the Atlantic. Interior design was entrusted to Paris Forino Interior Design, with Swiss landscape architect Enea Garden Design shaping the arrival and amenity environments. Completed in 2023, the tower is a joint venture between OKO Group and Cain International.

The Missoni name carries a weight few fashion houses can claim. Ottavio "Tai" Missoni — an Olympic hurdler who represented Italy at the 1948 London Games — and Rosita Missoni founded the house in Sumirago, in the Varese province of northern Italy, in 1953. Together they built an enterprise defined by the bold chevron and zigzag patterns knit from saturated wool, cotton, and lurex blends — a signature born when they discovered the Raschel knitting machine, which enabled complex multi-colored geometric patterns at commercial scale. A legendary 1967 show at Florence's Pitti Palace, where models appeared in translucent lurex under stage lights, launched the house into global prominence. Under family stewardship since, Missoni has extended from fashion into homewares and now into Baia — a tower designed from the ground up to carry its visual language into every room.

The building's 249 residences span one through five bedrooms, ranging from approximately 776 to 3,788 interior square feet, with select duplex configurations exceeding 4,900 square feet and private terraces. Every home is oriented for direct bay or city views — the curved plan deliberately configured to maximize sightlines — with floor-to-ceiling glass, open-plan living areas, and Italian stone finishes throughout kitchens and bathrooms. Missoni Home furnishings and textiles carry the house's iconic pattern vocabulary — chevrons, flame stitches, bold color progressions — into common areas and residences alike, producing a coherent visual identity from lobby to penthouse.

The amenity program spans floors five through seven and rivals the most comprehensive private clubs in South Florida. A bayfront pool deck anchors the experience with an Olympic-length lap pool, lounge pool, and plunge pools framed by cabanas along 200 feet of water frontage. A sixth-floor bridge connects the interior amenity suite to the pool terrace. Inside, a 1,700-square-foot fitness center overlooks the bay, supported by yoga studios, a resident-only spa with sauna and steam rooms, a private screening room, a game room, a private dining room, and a bayfront lounge terrace. A children's club, pet spa, and in-building salon complete an offer designed to make leaving the building purely optional.

Edgewater has transformed over the past decade into one of Miami's most sought-after waterfront addresses. Missoni Baia sits steps from Margaret Pace Park — a bayfront green with running paths, a dog park, and water access — while Wynwood's arts district is a ten-minute walk north and the Design District's luxury retail roughly one mile away. Downtown Miami, Brickell's financial core, and the Adrienne Arsht Center are all within twenty minutes, and Miami International Airport under thirty. The neighborhood's waterfront position and proximity to Miami's cultural and commercial centers have made Edgewater one of the city's most strategically positioned residential markets.

Residences were offered from approximately $589,000 for one-bedroom layouts, rising to the low-to-mid millions for two- and three-bedroom homes, and reaching toward $6,800,000 for the building's largest duplex configurations. Missoni Baia reached completion in 2023 with certificates of occupancy secured and resident move-ins underway — ahead of many comparable towers in the same cycle. Resale and rental activity has since traded at a premium, reflecting both the strength of the Missoni brand and the scarcity of delivered bayfront product in Edgewater. For buyers seeking a finished residence that unites Italian fashion heritage, landmark architecture, and a commanding waterfront position, Missoni Baia stands in a category of its own.
